About MK Timber

MK Timber is an expert timber harvesting company that operates out of Lacon, Illinois, and serves customers in a 14-county area within an approximately 60-mile radius around our headquarters. Our company offers income opportunities for property owners in central Illinois, whom we pay for desirable trees.

MK Timber is fully bonded and insured in Illinois. We are a responsible logging company and believe strongly in sustainability and treat every property as if it is our own.

How It Works

We meet with you to appraise the value of your timber, providing you with a quote. We use an appraisal process to discuss best practices and forest management. When the quote is accepted, we pay you for all of the trees slated for harvest.

After you get paid, we get to work, harvesting the marked trees according to the plan agreed upon between us.
